Three Months Old!!!

Three Months Old
by: "Aunt Flashy" (my sister Amy)

Our littlest princess turned three months old a couple of days ago, and I can't believe it! She is one of our greatest joys! We're blessed by what a peaceful, happy baby she is. She loves to smile and interact with her mommy, daddy, sister, and brother! She adds so much to our little family! She is healthy...probably about 12 1/2 lbs. now, I'm guessing. She's growing and growing! She still loves to sleep, which is surprising and great! I've heard some people are just sleepers, and she seems to be one of them (like her mommy :)). She loves to cuddle and be held in her new Moby wrap (Thank you Chance and Lee!!!) but also loves to sleep on her tummy in her bed. (I know you're not "supposed" to do this, but she's got great head control, and she's still sleeping beside us in her pack'n'play, so we feel good about it. :)) She's starting to "talk" to us more and "tell us stories". She likes it when we sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and things like that. She likes to hold onto whatever her hands find - shirts, blankets, hair, etc. (Asher likes to put swords and shields and things like that in her hands, but she's not too good at holding onto those kinds of things yet. :)) Her newest thing is finding her hands and trying to put them in her mouth. One of my favorite things is the way she kind of "hugs" my arms when I'm holding her. She's just so sweet! I love it when she stares into my eyes. It's like I can see her love for me. I definitely love her back!!! She melts my heart! She's a precious gift from God for sure!!!
