It's a...

Well, we went and had THE sonogram today. I thought I might have seen what the baby was right away, so I turned away really fast because we weren't "ready" yet. I told the sonographer to wait until we guessed and Beau got the camera ready to video our reaction. I looked really closely and said, "I think it's a boy. It's a boy!" Beau said the same thing - although later he told me that he didn't really say that because of what he saw, he just "knew" it was a boy. The lady said, "I don't know what you're seeing, but it's a GIRL!" Soooo...we're having a GIRL! Surprise! Surprise!!! We are both SHOCKED - and REALLY excited! Beau is shocked because he's just "known" my whole pregnancy that we're having a boy, and although I didn't claim to know - or care - it seems like most people guessed that I was having a boy - and Asher is all we know...but we're VERY excited and can't wait to meet our Ainsley Grace at the end of September - just FOUR MONTHS away!!! Her little profile and body parts looked perfect. All her measurements were right on and the sonographer said there are no worries according to the sonogram. So I am very thankful for that! She weighs exactly one pound and was moving around a lot. It was really fun seeing the little being growing inside of me. It's strange that even though she's seeming more and more real - she still doesn't at the same time. I don't know how to explain it. So now we've got to figure out where to store all of our boy things and get ready for our little "gril" as Cooper calls girls. It should be a fun and interesting few months.

I am SO excited for you guys!!! I have loved being a mommy at the same time as you and it will be even more being mommies of daughters together. I LOVE her name, it is BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to meet her! I also can't wait to see Beau be a daddy to a princess, he is going to be mush the second he lays eyes on her.

selkekidsSara, I am so excited about Ainsley Grace!! My grandma Hennigh would be so pleased that you and C&A picked 'Grace' for part of your babies' names. Grandma's name was Gracie Awilda (Daily)Hennigh. I've already gone nuts in the baby section at a couple stores and have a basket full of goodies for our Miss Ainsley Grace. I love you all.
