I'm Sara.Beau is my incredible husband, and God has blessed us with three truly amazing kiddos who keep us on our toes:Asher(5),Ainsley(3),and Lexi(1).We think we're really funny, and we love making each other laugh! We are proud Texans, but we moved to OK a few years ago to continue in Beau's family's long line of camp ministry. We love God with our whole hearts, and it is our life's mission to raise our kids to know and love Him too. This life is a journey, and we want to walk it with Him.

Parenthood...
Asher slept with Beau and me ALL night last night. The poor little guy went down around 7:30 or so - like normal. But around 10:00 he woke up and was SO upset! It was really sad. It was as if he was scared or something. I don't know, he might not have been feeling well. I'm not sure what was wrong, but it wasn't easy to soothe him, then once he would calm down, I would rock him back to sleep, put him in his bed, then he would wake up frantically within a couple of minutes. So we brought him to bed with us, and he barely woke up a couple more times throughout the night, but overall, he seemed much more calm because he was with us. It was sad and sweet all at the same time. One of the sweetest things was this morning, when he had worked his way over to Beau, and he was lying on his back but with his head right up next to Beau's. It was so cute. I wish I could have documented it with a picture. I hate that he was sad, but I'm glad at the same time that he finds such comfort in being with us. We couldn't love him more!!!

I hate that he was sad too! I hope that tonight is better. I know what you mean about loving that he finds comfort in being with you, that is one of the greatest things about being a parent. I also love when Claire is cuddly in bed with Allan and I, those are such sweet moments that I always wish there were pictures of.
I wonder if little Asher needs a night light so he can see a little bit instead of being in total darkness when he wakes up. If he already has a night light; could it be shadows or curtains blowing or something that startled him like the heater coming on? Maybe a spider was weaving its web over him like what happened to Skyler. Anyway, I'm thankful he has a loving mommy and daddy who tucked him into bed with them for now. I love you all.
Hi Sara! I've so enjoyed going back and reading your old posts. Sophie is about the age Asher was when you started your blog and it is such fun to see what we have to look forward to! He is one cutie patootie.
Hey Jami! I can't believe Sophie is so "old"! =) Thanks for the comment. It's always so fun to hear from you!!! And I know that you will have SO MUCH fun with Sophie as each new season comes! It's THE BEST!!!
